Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a Head of Marketing who will lead a team of high performing and passionate marketers to power our exponential growth. Along the way, you will build a customer obsessed, tech-enabled brand that is activated and brought to life with deep local relevance. With more than 550,000 customers since our launch in September 2020, you will be part of a team set to reimagine banking, with the goal of becoming the global benchmark in digital banking.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate the strategy to Mox’s marketing initiatives that will drive customer and business growth, and materialise the vision through impactful and flawless campaign execution.
  • Orchestrate across parallel brand, partnership, performance, and product marketing activities to maximise synergies and ensure adherence to brand tonality and customer experience strategy.
  • Build and protect Mox to become the most loved banking brand in Hong Kong.
  • Stay abreast of the latest trends, identify, and create the business case for channel, partnership, event, and cultural opportunities that can accelerate our growth and reinforce brand leadership.
  • Not only be guided and make data driven decisions, but also lead initiatives that will blend technology with data to extensively utilise marketing automation for personalisation.
  • Lead our In-House Creative Team to ensure quality outputs and manage capacity accordingly.
  • Partner with the Marketing Technology Squad to prioritise the product backlog that meets constantly changing marketing needs without losing focus for strategic builds.
  • Take a hands-on approach whenever needed, from jumping in to draft messages to customers, to taking cross-functional leadership whether executing marketing materials through fulfilment of rewards, to whatever the calling to ensure the bank is delivering an aligned customer experience.
  • Maintain and enforce the marketing governance policies to ensure all activities and deliverables meet expected standards and compliant to applicable regulations and bank processes.
  • Mentor and grow a high performing team, developing our talent bench that can support growth of the bank, and build resilience to the knowledge base.
  • Be a strong collaborator with excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Track and manage assigned budgets.

Requirements

  • Minimum 15+ years of marketing experience overseeing integrated marketing strategies and campaign, ideally from banking or experience in fast-paced B2C digital/tech environments.
  • Proven track record across brand, digital, and direct marketing. Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud will be a plus.
  • Deep insight into the Hong Kong consumer marketing landscape, you are the go-to person for market knowledge and cultural trends.
  • Attention to detail, organised yet comfortable with ambiguity, with a flexible mindset to work under a fast-paced business and market environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications in both Chinese and English.
