Who are we looking for?

We are searching for a Senior Manager / Manager, Co-Brand Cards and Partnerships. This position will play a pivotal role in driving and growth and success of co-brand card programs and strategic partnerships. You will be working as a part of Cards and Lending Tribe responsible for executing co-brand card strategies, managing relationships with key partners, and driving revenue growth through innovative partnerships. This position requires a positive mindset, energetic and strong resilience, attention to details and good liaison skills, and a deep understanding of the Hong Kong market and card industry in general. This role reports directly to Head of Co-Brand Cards and Partnerships.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and evaluate potential co-brand card partnerships, considering market trends, customer needs and competitive landscape.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive co-brand card program strategy that aligns with the overall business objectives.
  • Formulate business cases, stimulate and analyse various financial scenarios.
  • Collaborate with internal terms to design attractive card features, benefits and rewards to drive customer acquisition, spend and revenue.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with co-brand and strategic partners and merchants from various industries.
  • Negotiate partnership contractual terms, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions that drive revenue growth and customer engagement.
  • Daily liaison with partners, act as a bridge to connect partners and internal cross-functional teams, including technology, marketing, legal, and compliance to execute campaigns and initiatives and ensure timely delivery of programs and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Daily performance tracking, analyse key performance metrics, such as card acquisition, activation, usage, and profitability, and implement necessary initiatives to optimize performance.
  • Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including products, marketing, operations, legal, compliance and technology teams, to ensure seamless integration and execution of co-brand card programs.
  • Formulate Co-Brand team’s reports, presentations, commercial terms and documentations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to a team of professionals responsible for the co-brand card programs and partnership management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5-10 years) in managing co-brand card programs and strategic partnerships, preferably digital partnerships.
  • Knowledge of the card and banking industry landscape, including industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth through co-brand card programs.
  • Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Strong numeric sense and able to stimulate and analyse financial cases.
  • Proficiency in Cantonese is preferred.
